Bobby Goldsmith Foundation (BGF) is proud to announce the return of its much-anticipated annual Gala Auction event, dedicated to raising vital funds to support individuals living with HIV.
Now in its 18th year, BGF’s annual Gala Auction is the charity’s major fundraiser and a highly anticipated event on the LGBTQIA+ social calendar. This year's theme is Cirque du Noir, and it promises to be a magical evening of glamour, entertainment and community solidarity.
As Australia’s oldest HIV charity, BGF has been at the forefront of providing comprehensive support to people living with HIV for nearly four decades. With most of their services still relying on support from partners and community supporters, events like the Cirque du Noir Gala Auction are vital in continuing their important work caring for those whose lives have been affected by HIV.
This year’s Auction promises to be something unique and special. Held at the spectacular Sydney Town Hall, guests will experience more than three hours of amazing performances and entertainment. Attendees will have the opportunity to mingle with old friends and new as they enjoy a three-course sit down meal and beverage package.
Beyond the glamour, the Cirque du Noir Gala Auction holds a profound purpose. All proceeds from the event will go directly towards supporting BGF's Health & Wellbeing Programs, Financial Counselling and Community Support Services. These initiatives provide a lifeline to individuals living with HIV, comprehensive support and a sense of belonging within a supportive community.

The event will feature an exclusive auction showcasing an array of unique items and experiences, generously donated by BGF's supporting partners. From luxury getaways to beautiful artworks, the auction promises something for everyone.

Supporting people living with HIV has never been more important. Whilst transmission rates have dropped significantly, HIV is not over for the almost 30,000 people living with HIV in Australia. Many of the people who BGF support are Long-Term Survivors, the first generation to age with HIV and have complex health and social needs. Now more than ever, they need our support.
The Cirque du Noir Gala Auction provides a platform for individuals, businesses and the community at large to come together in solidarity.
