HIV/Alcohol & Other Drugs (AOD) Integrated Service
For people with HIV who are also experiencing homelessness, alcoholism or drug addiction, we provide a wide-range of HIV-related support to address their physical, mental and social needs.
In partnership with The Haymarket Foundation, ADAHPS, HIV Outreach Team and Positive Central, we deliver:
- Access to a stabilisation program with residency at The Haymarket Centre Crisis accommodation (4 beds)
- Support for transition to independent, sustainable tenancies in the community on exiting The Haymarket Centre
- Support for HIV treatment adherence
- Referral and support to access relevant community services, including drug health services
- Harm minimisation, including education and support to reduce risky injecting and sexual behaviours
- Support with legal and financial issues and re-engagement with services
