HalloQueen raises over $18K for people living with HIV!

A big thank you to our amazing supporters and volunteers who joined us for our annual HalloQueen Trivia fundraiser! It was great to catch up with some familiar faces and meet some new friends too! You helped us raise over $18,500 to help BGF improve the quality of life for people living with HIV. We are forever grateful for your support!

Over 175 devils, angels, zombies, queens and everything in between descended on Paddo RSL for a really fun night. It was great to see so many people get into the HalloQueen spirit and dress up for the occasion.

We had a 'Best Dressed' competition where we had a stunning Marilyn Monroe and a kaftan wearing, Skeletor inspired 'Your Mother in Law on Holiday' battled it out for first place, with the Mother in Law taking the prize. 

We played two hilarious games - Head & Tails and 'P*rnstars or Ponies' that were a lot of fun. And we had a live auction where we auctioned off some amazing prizes, including a trip for two on the upcoming P&O Pride Cruise, a decadent 4-course dinner for four people with Joyce Maynge at NOMAD, an Apple Watch and a dinner with Simon Dunn at Ezra restaurant.

Portia and Joyce were on fire as our hosts for the night, both performing amazing spot numbers. Portia brought the house down with a stunning performance to 'Chandelier' and Joyce finished the night with an unforgettable performance of 'River Deep, Mountain High' that included literally everything, including cartwheels through the audience!

A big thank you to our fabulous hosts Portia Turbo and Joyce Maynge for some great banter, lots of laughs and of course, being our trivia treats this HalloQueen!
